Calling all supermarkets, multiple convenience retailers and store managers.

This is the last call for entries in the 2006 Retail Industry Awards.

Now in their 11th year, the awards have become established as the Oscars of the industry with intense competition in all categories.

There are a total of 17 categories for retailers to take part in and show the judging panel and their peers just what they are capable of achieving.

The judging process for Supermarket of the Year and Convenience Chain of the Year has been revitalised in 2006. In these categories, all relevant supermarkets and convenience retailers will be automatically included in the judging process.

However, we are still asking for supporting information such as financial reports, details of customer marketing campaigns and promotions, staff training, supplier relationships and range development.

From this process we will invite judges to select a shortlist and shortlisted retailers will be invited to present to our expert judging panel and take questions from the judges.

Don�t delay, the deadline for entries is 16 June.
