Cadbury Flake Dark

Cadbury Trebor Bassett (CTB) is tapping into the growing popularity of dark chocolate with its latest launch – Cadbury Flake Dark.

Cadbury Flake Dark

With sales of dark chocolate growing at 13% year-on-year, the confectioner says the sector is a “natural extension” for the Flake brand. Available from 9 October, the launch is backed by a £3.8m marketing spend, including the sponsorship of ITV’s Coronation Street and sampling and PR. In-store support includes shelf-ready packaging and, for the initial first six weeks of the launch, counter and floor displays to help retailers capitalise on the advertising. Cadbury Flake Dark retails at 46p.
