The new look is part of Artimas strategy to become the leading chain in Romania by 2010 and open 90 stores over the next five years.
The design spans stationery, signgage, point of sale, staff uniforms, sales literature and advertising and has been developed by Shines creative director Baz Morris in conjunction with top food photographer Alan Newnham. According to Shine, Newnham has created a portfolio of pictures to illustrate Artimas commitment to, a new taste of freshness.
The redesign has been developed over a six-month period and involved regular visits by Shine to Artimas head quarters in Timisoara.
Sales at the first store, opened at the end of June, are reported to have increased by 50% in the first three days.
Shine chairman, Michael Taylor, said: Working at a distance, and with a different language proved to be no problem. The interplay between cultures was challenging and invigorating and the outcome proved to be a mutual success.
