Kingsmill backs Omega 3 bread with new campaign

Kingsmill’s TV campaign supporting its latest launch, Kingsmill Head Start with Omega 3, breaks today (4 August)

Head Start with Omega 3: TV ads break today

The campaign is the first part of a £3m marketing spend to support the launch and features a 20 second commercial called designed to “challenge traditional bread marketing clichés and make a real connection with today’s mums”.

The key message of the advertising campaign is that parents no longer need to try and force children to eat things they do not like, such as oily fish, but can smuggle goodness into them in a way they love via Kingsmill Head Start with Omega 3.

Jon Wilson, marketing director, said: “We are investing an initial £3m to support new Kingsmill Head Start with Omega 3 and are set to avoid traditional bread marketing clichés and make a real connection with today’s busy mums.”

“Kingsmill Head Start range with Omega 3 is an excellent way to top up Omega 3 levels. The product has been developed following extensive research with our consumers and we wanted to make our new advertising campaign as distinctive as possible.”
